6.6.15 Muncie June Sprint and Olympic Triathlon
Field Limit is 400 Multi-Sport Athletes
The swim will take place on Prairie Creek Reservoir. The olympic course is 1x 1500meter loop. The Sprint course is 1x 400yard loop.
The bike course is a beautiful 20.6k loop around Prairie Creek Reservoir. The rolling hills present a fast yet challenging course for athletes. There are only 5 turns: 4 left & 1 right. Security will be at every turn and at each main crossroad. Olympic distance athletes will do 2 loops with the sprint athletes doing 1 loop.Bike Course Map
The run course is an out-and-back format for all races. There are plenty of non-stop rolling hills for your liking! Aid-stations are at miles: 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 4.5, & 5. Each station is equipped with water, sports drink & plenty of volunteers! At each 5k/10k turnaround there will be gels available.
Duathlons will use the same run course for the 1st -1k-and 2nd-5k- run.5k Run Map 10k Run Map
Awards will be given to male and female overall 1-2-3 winners in each event. Age groups awards will be given out 3-deep in each race that has at least 50 participants.
