Sprint Schedule for the weekend
Friday May 31th
3 to 9pm is NON-mandatory bike check-in for AutoCar Sprint Triathlon. You CAN drop your bike in OVERNIGHT. Overnight security provided.
3 to 7pm is packet pickup at Cycling and Fitness Warehouse (CFW).
6pm at CFW is first timer’s clinic.
Saturday June 1st
5am – Registration, packet pickup, body marking, and transition open.
5am to 8am – Packet Pickup
6 to 6:20am – Swim Warmup
8:30am – Pre-race Meeting
8:45am – National Anthem and Invocation
8:55am – Official Starter Speech – AutoCar CEO Jimmy Johnson
9:00am – Cannon Start AutoCar Sprint Triathlon
12pm – Awards and Lunch

- Each Triathlon/Duathlon has a 2 or 3 person relay team option. Add $20 to the entry fee.
- Race day registration will NOT be offered for this event.
- Athletes can pick up their race bags on Saturday from 6am to 7am.
- All sprint athletes do not have to have their bikes in transition overnight. You may however, place them there.
- Registration closes on May 31 at 1pm.
- Minimum age for all races: 13 years old (except 5k- 9 years old). Ages are determined by the participants age on December 31, 2013.
Awards
Awards will be given to male and female overall 1-2-3 winners in each event. Age groups awards will be given out 3-deep in each race that has at least 50 participants.
Age groups: 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
All Participants will receive an event tech t-shirt.
USAT
Please note: if you are NOT a USAT member you must pay a $12 one-day license for the event. You will be able to do this on the online event registration. If you are a USAT member but your membership has expired; you are able to renew it in the online registration for this event. Non-members also have the option of purchasing a new USAT membership instead buying a one-day license.
All USA Triathlon Rules will be enforced by a USAT Official.
USA Triathlon Competitive Rules
Course
Swim
The swim will take place on Middlefork Reservoir.
Bike
The 13.4 mile bike course will leave the reservoir and follow Reid Parkway passing Reid Hospital and cross IN-27. From there it will go north under I-70 and loop around on county roads and return the same way to the reservoir.
Run
The 3.1 mile run will leave Middle Fork Reservoir, wind through the surrounding streets and then return to the Reservoir for the finish. There will be aid-stations at miles 1 and 2 stocked with water, Gatorade and volunteers!
