Triathlon Division
DETAILS: Age groups from sprint and olympic distances will be combined for one division. Olympic distance points are weighted more. Athletes will get points for placing in their age groups & overall winners will be put back into their age groups for scoring purposes.
AGE GROUPS (M/F): 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
SCORING: Athletes will get points for placing in the top 5 in their respective M/F age groups.
Olympic: 1st- 625, 2nd- 500, 3rd- 388, 4th- 288, 5th- 200
Sprint: 1st- 500, 2nd- 400, 3rd- 310, 4th- 230, 5th- 160
Participation Points
-Every athlete that does not place top 5 in their age group will receive 50 participation points.
Point Bonuses
-Athletes who compete in more than 7 races will receive point bonuses. They will receive 50 extra points for EACH race beyond 7.
-Overall M/F winners of each race will get point bonuses (1st- 100, 2nd- 50, 3rd- 25).
Duathlon Division
DETAILS: Sprint and olympic distances will be combined into one division. Athletes will get points for placing overall in their race.
SCORING: Athletes will get points for placing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th (M/F) overall in the race. There will be no age group points.
Olympic: 1st- 625, 2nd- 500, 3rd- 388, 4th- 288, 5th- 200
Sprint: 1st- 500, 2nd- 400, 3rd- 310, 4th- 230, 5th- 160
